well, i finally found a good 1g dsm in my price range after weeks of looking. Bought it off of a local guy who has owned/sold around 45 of them. Needs paint, don't know what color to go with yet, but anways, here's the pics:

yeah, there is actually a dent on each of the fenders, but my buddy just sold me 2 new fenders for 20 bucks. I paid 1900 for it. It has a rebuilt trans, new head, new clutch, compression is 155 all the way across, and all new front suspension. It is a real smooth ride, just needs an alignment.

not bad, good start and for a nice price.

I completely forgot that manufacturers used to have those seatbelts that were attached to the door pillars! I see the 1st generation Talons/Eclipses every now and then on the road. The one you found looks like it is in pretty decent shape. The one car I never see anymore on the road are the Mitsubishi Starions. Anyone seen any of these lately?
