so i'm going to work this morning and get rearended real well. 99 cav base coupe so not worth a whole lot by KBB, initial guesstimate from the guys down at the body shop was at least 5 grand, probably more. list of parts/panels that are done are as follows;
hood
front bumper cover
dr. door
both rear 1/4 panels rolled and creased
rear bumper cover
trunk floor rolled to the point of replacement
trunklid done
both outers slightly cracked

probably gona be totaled and only get a few pennies for it, guess it's a good thing i didn't get new tires yesterday or that hood last weekend.
Gonna be totaled...? It doesn't even look that bad? Yea a few cracks and dents here and there, but nothing major. Then again, I don't know if there is frame damage, but from something this small, I doubt it. $5000 seems like a huge price for this small amount? Then again, I haven't had much expieriance with accidents.
the bumper is not just broke and moved down, it is still attached to the car as normal except the folded sides. the mounting points to the body are rolled up and into the trunk forming some large hills on either side of the now smaller spare well.
the alignment is off too, don't know if the body is twisted or no but id definitely rides different. i am just bummed out now.
Is that a wig? or someone's scalp in the first pic in the trunk? Or a pet of some sort? lol
actually it is a feather duster for work, occasionally i have to dust things, mostly it just sits there
yeah sometimes i like to dress up in my molly maid get-up though, lol j/k seriously

Aslong as the frames is ok just fix it back up. This will give you a reason to geta body kit and hood. Good luck.

As far as I've been able to tell... all 2000 'verts were auto, unless they were special ordered as the 5 speed... I've only ever seen one in 5 speed.. Cloney's old car.. but mine is now too, following the 5 speed swap... it's just not stock

i have to call tomorrow and find out how much they decided, haggle, just got done putting my sport kit on the vert and throwing the stock stuff on sir smashed alot. towing company tried to swipe it today without letting me know, fortunately they couldn't find it. gona have a few parts that i can't swap over going up for sale but i offered them locally first.
insurance decided it was worthless to even send out an adjuster to look at it, their loss.
