is the new owner from the org?
sad day man
My car was made with wrenches, Not chopsticks.
Your car is legendary, I hope they realize what they bought! Beautiful shape too. Any reason why you got rid of it? Is your current DD in your profile, or is something new in the picture? Wow... I've been wrestling with the idea of getting rid of my Sunfire, which has been mine for 8 years as well & I seriously get emotional with the thought of saying good-bye. How hard was it?
I would have bought it. How much did it go for?(If you don't mind)
Very nice car. An inspiration actually, it's everything I wish mine will be some day. I hope the new owner takes good care of it.

In all honesty... I was in tears cleaning it out in the garage yesterday. Kind of embarrassing, but true. It all just kind of hit me at once.
I'm a sap, I know.

Performance cars do not win car shows and show cars do not win races.
It's up to you to decide which you'd rather win.
Sad to see it go. Was definitely one of the best cars here for a long time. I'd probably ball like A baby if i ever sold mine lol
i remember you posting way back in the day when i first got here, the sig is what i remember the most...
how about some pics of it the way it used to look?
and why are the side moldings in the wrong places?
You look so much cuter with something in your mouth.
I remember seeing it at the 04 Bash. I think you had not had the charge that long then. I think you had also just done the rear racing seats as well.

This Cavalier helped helped put J-bodys on the map, one of the first to get any real recognition. This car lead the way and helped shape the aftermarket, I hope it went to a good home.
i spy an ultra rare carbon fiber type j front bottom section cover!

Not soo sure about that. Not knocking anything he did with the car, but others put J's on the map before his.

Hate to hear it.
Another legend falls.
So what was the reasoning for you to sell it?
Your Civilier will always be emblazoned in you memories, for as long as you live. I'm sure they were good times, the notoriety of your work, and the joy of driving something that would be an inspiration to many of us that are J-body fans.
Good luck Ian.

Thank you Dave and JBO!
I loved your car long before I had mine, it was just one of those cars you wanted yours to look like. Sad to see it go, but onto better things right?
Take care!

Loved it when I first saw and still do to this day. Congrats on building one of the most memorable cars on this site and J community.
To continue on what Darkstars said this car also proved you could cleanly mod with the said kit/spoiler/graphics trends at that time.
I recall a picture of this very car next to Gary Oxley's car. This car prevailed in that picture.
Very sad day indeed.....
You and that car have always been a HUGE inspiration. If I am ever in your area again I will give you a call. You are definitely one of the pioneer's of J-body modding...
