What are some typical 60' times you guys with DR's are running? Also list other mods that might help traction or any major performance mods like power adders. I want to guestimate how much better I could do with DR's to see if they're worth it.

most of what I've seen is 2.0-2.1's
You might pull a 1.9.

the lucky sob already pulls 2.0 60's on street tires lol
Nope, never pulled a 2.0. 2.1's are pretty common, unless I'm at ATCO, where I have to go through the waterbox, then 2.2's are the norm.
So basically, they're good for maybe a tenth ot two in the 60'?
<img src=http://ourworld.cs.com/jwithspray/Jbeier_sig3.JPG>
6 yeah...i'd say a tenth or two.
With your car and the spray...it could make up .5 difference in the 1/4.
oops...the "6" was supposed to be a "^"
a tenth or 2 in the 60' is 3 or 4 in the 1/4 mile though
I know, just wanted to see if I could get somw low 13's with only $250 more invested. Looks like I'll be shooting for a 13.3 or so this season.

If you don't already have one (none listed in your profile) a Limited Slip Differential such as the Phantom Grip
http://www.phantomgrip.com, which is what I have. You can get them @
http://www.jegs.com for $223.99+S&H. Quaif also makes a LSD, but cost allot more.
Getting both tires to turn doubles you traction, no longer a one-wheel-wounder!
Polyurethane control arm bushings greatly reduce wheel hop, reducing tranny breakage. They reduce wheel hop by not deflecting as much as rubber bushing, which cause the tires to grab, load-up and release over and over, torquing and releasing the axles and transmission.
Already not a one wheel wonder.......with no lsd!
<img src=http://ourworld.cs.com/jwithspray/Jbeier_sig3.JPG>
As long as the wheels aren't turned, that is......
I have two nice long black strips out front of my house to prove it too, lol.

Welded diff?
Nope, just happens to be very well balanced, apparently. I do have a welded diff, but it's not installed, yet. Won't be installed for another 5 years or so when this car is gutted and made race only.

when I went with the drag radials I was pulling low 1.90's, prior to extreem weight reduction and nitorus and light weight clutch/flywheel and massive head work.
more or less its good for 1-2 tenths and more consistant off the line. Key for brackets

I have pulled low 2.1's on drag radials. I have been trying to get 2.0's. I have Koni adjustables set medium in the back, and soft up front, control arm bushings (these helped a lot!!!!
I'm debating on setting my Koni's to hard in the back and medium in the front. It is just a pain to adjust them.
FU Tuning
The best I've gotten is a 2.10 and that is with hop off the line and spinning 1/2 was through 2nd. The rear end quats about 2" I'm told when I launch it so I'm going to make up some wedges for the rear and new bushings in the front. Also going to make some track bars that will be connected to the front part of my sub-frame. Right now I'm still undecided about getting a Quaif diff or going with just a phantom grip. I would love to get the Quaif diff but with a retail of $1450us is it really worth it?

Yea, an LSD of any kind is far off in the future for me yet. I don't think I'm making enough power to cause problems yet apparently. I was pulling consistant 2.1's on street tires on the 75 shot, And that's spraying even in 1st, although I cut 2.1's when I don't spray too, so DR's should really help there. On the 100 shot, I just spin like crazy if I spray in first, but again, I still cut 2.1's if I don't spray in first. If I could cut a 1.9 on the 100 shot, I know I'd be good for low 13's. I think I'm picking up a set of DR's before my next visit to the track for sure.

First couple times I ran 2.2's bone stock. Ran 2.1's with practice with only an intake. After suspension, nitrous, and dr's (only 195 60 r 14's) ran 2.1's and a handfull of 2.0's. With wider and taller dr's I think low 2.0's or upper 1.9's are easily attainable.

well, I was running 2.1's stock too, so i'd better pull a 1.9 or i'll be bummed
