Hey guys, new to this forum. Just trying to gather some quick information regarding stock parts. We can use any 1997 cavalier chassis parts and only 2.2 engine and trans options.

What size sway bars come stock in 97?
Is there an axle beam with the added bar in 97?
I've heard there were several piston options for 97?

Any and all Info is appreciated.

Z24 had a welded stiffening bar in the rear torsion beam. Z24 front sway is 22mm.

If I remember right the '97 2.2 is sorta it's own thing. Never looked into it too hard because by the time I was considering modding my 97 it got run into.

Not that that helps too much...



I miss my Cavalier, even if it made 100 hp on a cold day and had more suspension then it deserved.
