Hi I am currently building a 96 Chevy cavalier z24 dirt car it has the 2.4 my local track rules say i need to take out the gauge cluster an put after market ones me not knowledge on body's didn't no know that the cars pass-lock system is wired through this so now my car runs for a a second or two then dies but on top off that the car needs to be wired by a push button the a switch that turns on the ignition and one that turns on the fuel pump i ordered my switch panel from quick car racing products i can wire it to turn over an for the fuel pump to kick on but don't know how to power the ignition an if i do will the pass-lock still be on? i have the wiring diagrams just need some one who can instruct me very good on i just need instruction i am lost please respond asap all tips aprecaited
cluster will have to stay connected. You can always put that under your dash so it is not seen.
