can i take the roller rockers off of a 98 2.2 and put them on my 96 2.2?
the 98 didn't come factory with roller rockers.if you found one that has them, then someone installed them. you would need different studs for the rocker arm mount.

Yes, it did. 98+ rockers have a roller fulcrum (more important than roller tip).
However, they are not adjustable, and the mounting thread is different on 97- heads, so no, they won't swap.
