There is a hillbilly at school with an Isuzu hombre that wants to race.
His is a five speed and mine is auto.
I have short ram, cat back, and -MD- LD9's light weight pulley.
I should kill him easy right?
I am just wondering If I should try and talk him into going with me to keep it off the street.

I am pretty sure I would beat him. I don't know the year but I dont think it is too fast. I was talking to him last night and he was like its fast man I beat a V6 blazer.

Not really, Thats why I want to go to a track.
I was pretty sure the truck was slow. The kid just thinks my cavalier is slow. I was kind of @!#$ with him saying I think that he might be able to keep up. He is the one that wants to race. I knew I would win, I just didn't know by how much.
Is beating him by more than 1 and a half seconds do able? Just so I can tell him its not worth his time. I still want to go to the track to race my friends mustang though.
As far as HP, you should have him there. If he has the 2.2, he's only making 130 at best, you're making 155 stock with your 2.4 and your boltons probably add 10-15? so let's say 165-170 =P
oh yeah, and you probably weigh almost 1000 lb less.
As long as you don't drive with your head up your @#$ than you should walk away from him easily. But I've seen minivans beat mustangs... so anything's possible

LOL. He is a buddy of mine now, that truck is so @!#$ slow. I was driving it around last night and floored and and it didn't go anywhere.
