hey yall i just got myself a 2004 cavalier sedan. its got the 2.2 ecotec with the 4spd automatic trans. its in really good shape im only the second owner and it got just over 36,000mi on it. anyways right now its bone stock exept for a set of eibach prokit springs. what kinda quarter mile times should i expect out of it. im going to the local 1/8 mile track on thur night to run it. and besides the springs i just wanna see what it runs stock. i am gonna drop the front tire psi down to 28psi and bump the rears up to 40psi. but im gonna leave it full weight and all. so what kinda times should i see? some have told me mid 16's in the 1/4 so that should be mid 10's in the 1/8?
when you get your ET slip at the track you will have your answer
if you don't break an engine mount. "snicker snicker"

ttr simple fix.
My sedan fully loaded z with ecotec full suspension mounts aem cai and full header back ran 15.9 first time out. 2nd run i blew a wheel bearing.
I welt 15.54@92mph a month ago on my street tires with a 2.28 60' at best. we will see if i can match those now on the drag radials
hey yall i just got back from the track. actually did ok for my first time out with this car this was at my local 1/8th mile track. my best pass was:
60ft- 2.4436
330ft- 6.9035
1/8th- 10.5862
mph- 66.91
my other passes were a 10.62, and two 10.67's. overall im pretty pleased for it being a bone stock automatic cavalier. and these runs were full weight, spare and all, 3/4 full tank of gas and on junky ass 195-70-14 tires.
I went a 15.9 stock in a 2 door 5 speed with a 2.5 60 foot now I'm runnin 14.5 with the charger and nothins broke!!!!!!!!!!
