I am running a 94' Cavalier in a 1/4 mile oval. I am running 185/70/14 and I am hitting the rev limiter about 5/8 down the straight. It has a manual and not a lot of camber if that really matters. I was wondering what a good tire size for me would be... I could probably find a tire but I am worried of clearance issues.... Thanks in advance for all answers.....
2nd gear?? If 2nd gear the bigger the tire the better. I f 3rd gear prolly the smallest 14" you can find Toyo 225/40R14
Yes, I run it in second gear.... Also I forgot to mention, It must be a 70 series tire.
Why?
Caution: I have an odd sense of humor, so don't be offended by the things I say

Dirt or pavement? Reason I ask, I run on a 1/3 mile dirt track, high banked so it's pretty fast for a dirt track. I have 215/60 14s on the front and I don't hit the rev limiter until I just start to reach the end of the straight.
Its asphalt.... Thanks Madjack.... Still, feel free to post input.... Thanks
