hello every one,
Now I'm designing a formula car to paticipate the FSAE west which will be hold in california speedway next year, now it's my time to design the brake system, but I don't know the attachment coefficients of the track, who can tell me? Thank you very much!
Friction coefficient will depend on the exact track surface (I haven't looked at the rules, so I'm not sure exactly where it is this year) and tire compound. This is definately not the website to be looking to for the answer.
What school are you from? I'll be there with the Arizona State team.

Thank you !Yeah you are right,it will depend on the exact track surface, now I have finished the I-curve,I have to know the attachment coefficients.we can't get the exact number if we have not do the experiment,I lost the chance when our team in california speedway.Maybe it will hold in the same place.I come from Hunan university,a chinese school, this time it's our second time to participate FSAE west.
