Well 03supercharged and gmanz posted their times from this weekend, so I might as well post mine. I was really surprised on the times considering what little modifications are done to the car. I figured that a stock GT (Z24) would run a low 16 or a 16 flat. Add an intake and motor/tranny mounts and I figured a 15.8-9. It was also the first time at the track with this car for me. Anyways on to the times...
First Pass:
R/T .201
60' 2.319
330' 6.574
1/8 10.106 @ 69.38
1000' 13.106
1/4 15.727 @ 87.08
I was surprised at the 60' for a first pass and overall time. I ran a few more passes with a consistant 2.3 60' and 15.7-8 quarter mile time.
Then I started to mess with the PSI and rpms off the line. I dropped the pressure to 23 PSI and got this time:
R/T -.003
60' 2.284
330' 6.477
1/8 9.987 @ 70.27
1000' 13.004
1/4 15.555 @ 88.08
So I ran three more passes and got my best time of the day:
R/T .013
60' 2.234
330' 6.408
1/8 9.915 @ 70.28
1000' 12.93
1/4 15.476 @ 88.25
Can't complain about this time at all, but I am really surprised because it is basically stock. I also had full interior, but did pull the spare tire out. I am going back to the track on the 7th of October to mess with more PSI and launch rpms.
So what do you guys think?
