tonite was my first time at the track, im running an auto 2.4 with intake, header, and 2 1/4" exhaust.. im wondering what could get me some quicker times without spending too much money.. here are my 2 runs...

Lower your tire pressure some (if you are having some excess traction loss)
If you have them still, run stock rims up front instead of the 17's

yeah i spun quite a bit off the line.. im still runnin the 16" RSA's just the newer style chrome rims... whats a good tire pressure to run?
That's debatable. I'd say no less than 26 lbs (hot)
yeah i think i was running 30-35 psi.. other than that what are some little things i could do to at least get in the mid 15's?
Well you ran 16.116 not to shabby, to answer the traction issue id say upgrade you tires when those wear out...eagle RSA's arent the best by any means...limited budget eh? id pick up an autotrans interceptor, that combo could get you into the 15's id say. i dunno just some idea's. Since the AutoTrans is no more, go with the B&M Shift Improver, unless you can find a used AutoTrans
yeah all my friends were expecting it to run high 16's so i guess its alright... i have a 75 shot of nitrous that i can put in anytime i was just afraid of blowing my motor, lol.. would a bigger tb make any difference? and it is definately time for some tires cuz those RSA's are almost bald.
what would the autotrans do for me? my tranny shifts pretty hard as it is and it chirps second gear, lol...
a bigger tb is more for chargers or turbos. people have actually ran slower with a bigger tb. a 75 shot wont blow the motor. just dont use it everytime you get the chance
the autotrans makes the tranny shift harder by increasing line presure. but its no longer made

ac delco plugs, ultra 94 gas.. is that alright?
the plugs need to be a step colder in heat range than stock. some like the NGK tr6 plugs or autolite 103 copper core of course
