New results with ECO S/C

Well I finally got back to the track on wednesday, with some somewhat decent tires,
I ran it 8 times, The first two times i ran a 14.6, come to find out after the second run I only had 3lbs of air in the passenger tire, so I filled it to 18lbs and ran it a couple more times. running 14.4. The best run was my second to last one in which I hit 14.3 at 99.18 mph here is the time slip for that one

R/T------.128
60'-------2.206
330------6.152
1/8-------9.247
mph-----81.63
1000----12.078
1/4-------14.349
mph-----99.18

The last run I got so much wheel hop it broke my zip tie holding the heater hose away from the supercharger pulley, so the hose fell into the belt and started spraying coolant everywhere, so after that I couldn't run anymore.

Overall I think it was good times, tell me what you guys think, Thanks, Josh

TImes are decent, traps are up there...

Is your setup intercooled? Stock pulley or something smaller? Sounds about right as my PB with just an intake was 14.2@99

12.770 @ 111.99 Intercooled Eaton M62

yes its intercooled, and its the stock pulley, my problem is I cant get the car to launch, I am running a set of bald goodyear 17's, they hook alittle better then my 18's, but I going to buy some nitto n-1 drag radials, hopefuly can get my 60 foot times down

how much do the supercharger w/ reflash go for price wise?

seems like a lot money for mid 14's, nothing wrong with that I'd love to get my hands on one for the tan car (hahahha not gonna hapen) just seems expensive for what you get.

good runs, with DRs you'd probably hit a 14.1 or so with 2.0 60's...

My time in my sig is what I personally did but I'm not intercooled...

14.425 @ 97.833 mph stock + GMPP s/c on drag radials.

That's nice times! I think with a smaller pulley and some decent tires the Eco SC can hit high 13s!

Not bad I think but I know some like to go/want to go faster but I think that's a nice time?

How much boost are you seeing at WOT?

Good job!

Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?

I'm pretty sure it can be done with a couple of bolt-ons, drag radials and intercooling on stock pulley... the trap speed is definitely good for 13s...

I'd watch that vid

I'm trying to go 14/15 Oct before the track closes here...didn't make it in Sep since my intercooler set was about half installed!!

I'd go, but I no longer have a cavalier, lol. I'm getting something that i've been wanting for a while now, even more since I sat in one when I visited my family in England. I'll post pics of it when I get it......

On October 8th me and a couple other cav's and a cobalt ss are going to race for the last time of the year, hopefully I will have my honed out exhaust manifold on, and have my buddies drag radials mounted. we will be video taping the races, so once we get back I post up a vid, hopefully I can hit the 13's, well see.

And BlueDeuce, I am seeing a little over 12 pounds
