okay....

so for those who don't know me.....

I ran a 14.4 @ 102 @ 8psi with a RICH tune at the j-body bash this year......

I went to the track last night with serious traction problems.... my best was as follows...

14.224 @ 102.01mph @ 5.5psi with a 2.3 60'...... it was cold out last night.... very cold.... I ran it at around 10:45pm @ cayuga (Toronto Motorsports park)...

I'll post my detailed timeslip later......it's down tairs... in the car...

just some extra side notes....

my friend in his talon went 13.6 @ 102 @ 13psi with a 1.8 60'
my other friend in his turbo integra 1.8l non vtec went 14.7 @ 99mph @ 6psi with a 2.6 60'

overall good birthday night at the track...

Corrected 60? Not once has my .1 decrease in a 60ft taken .2 off the 1/4 mile. Not N/A or boost. Its always been .1 off in 60ft gets .1 off in 1/4 mile. so .2-.3 off his 60ft would net him a 14.0-13.9.

oh @!#$. nice times man. i didnt think a stock 2200 could do that. dont they run like high 16s stock? u took almost 3 seconds off. nice trap too! specially for 5.5 psi. hows the lag on that turbo? any dyno numbers?

awd? reason i ask if the low trap and nice 60ft for the time. stock turbo?

haha my 2200 went 15.9 @ 88mph or something like that before turbo............with ALLLLLLLLLL the bolt ons............

there is almost NO lag with my set up..... 3" exhaust all the way back......... t3 garrett.... .60 trim........ with 2" mandrel charge piping...... the small piping with the exhaust works great together.... dyno numbers...... LEAN AS HELL......... 230whp 241 wtq............ @ 8.7 psi............with z24 injectors..... my wideband was showing 13's.......open dump...................

talon, of course awd.... explains 1.8 60'........launched it at 5500 studder launch.... has 3" exhaust, big 16g, tubular manifold, ported head, (stock injectors were killing him, his standalone DSM link was showing maxxed out injectors......)

the best part about this...... was I ran the talon highway on the way home...... started from 140....... I;m at 5.5 psi he's at 14psi ..... or so .... we evened up top ......thus our even trap speeds....... he's got the awd on me thats about it.........

turbo kit on the integra I helped put together...... he's running a 14b turbo with a tubular equal manifold.... 2.5" charge piping with full computer and dyno tune....191 whp....... with 17" chrome wheels.....

I've been following your motor...... hows it coming john ??

102 is a very nice trap speed for mid-high 13's in my experiences.

He's likely running 450cc injectors and they can't keep up with the big 16G above maybe 10 or 12psi. Tell him to get a set of yellow top injectors - 510cc I think, they're found on early RS (Big 16G) engines. That should help a bit. We've got one of the VR4s running a Big 16G, 3" downpipe back, EVO manifold, ported head, pretty much the same as your friend's Talon - boost is at 18psi and the injectors are keeping up just fine.

Nice job with the Cavy, by the way.
