high 1.8xx, cant remember exactly
crap loads of 1.9s (got 4 of 'em today, on a track w/o much prep)

my setup as you know is, big slicks (next pair might be even bigger ), sprints, koni reds on full soft.

advans have a far too stiff of a sidewall to be considered a halfway decent drag tire.

Real men use street tires to break into the 13s..

Am I the only person to cut sub 2.0 60s without the aid of a slick? I mean that seriously too. I see all these people saying 2.0x is their best. There HAS to be others that broke into the 1.90s with me with only DRs.

once I get those engine and trans mounts, I shoud have no problem getting 1.9x 60's.

2.280 - Mostly worn out Falken Azenis Sport st215s at the '05 Bash.
LD9 w/ blower
35psi front (still wanted to be able to drive home) 50 psi rear

Ran a 15.101@90.5 for that run. 95+ degrees. Heat soak sucks. Cobalt SS Supercharged were running 15.2's on factory rubber.

Launching at like 2k rpm. Any higher and I got major wheelspin/hop badness.

More practice and I could do better, but don't care much for drag racing. Would rather autoX, which might explain my tire choice at the time

Sleeper style, they don't see it coming that way.

No @!#$ sherlock. I'm well aware that not all Cavalier owners are on JBO. I was refering to people on here. Kinda thought that was obvious.

what did brian get( speedracerz) back in the day on his 12.8 run? i know he was on street tires. I want to say 1.9, but i could be wrong.

Brian had a 1.99 60 on Eagle HP's.

I think people rip on HP's and RSA's for being crappy tires just to justify their bad driving, or don't understand the effect of track prep.

Besides, you got DR's, hypsy

O noes!

I didn't hurt my clutch at all. When we took it out it just showed sings of MINOR slippage caused by use. No excessive damage from hard launching or slipping the clutch while launching.

my setup is 18' bf goodrich kdw t/a 225/40/18 with 38psi on rk full coil over setup

all i could hit was a 2.2 in the 60ft

im open to suggestions as to change that though

launching even @ 2000rpm caused some crazy wheel hop, take the tire psi down?
