Hey everyone, I am a member of many Mitsu forums for my daily driver... but this is the first that I have registered for my stock car.
It's a 1993 Cavalier with a 2.2L manual tranny.
Here is 1 image of it... I will post more.
I have a personal web page that you can view more pics, including a video by
clicking here.
I would have gone with the neon personally, but you seem to be finishing well with the cavalier. You should talk your dad into letting you drive the neon in a couple races though.
No way... I beat his butt in my Cav...
Besides, I am 6' tall, he is 5'9", I couldn't fit in his car.
We are about even on the straights until I shift from 2nd to 3rd, then I pull away... I run the high groove and he runs low... after a couple of laps I am pulling away. He has about 15 more years of racing over me... that is because this is my rookie year.
We are always getting beat (as you can see by the car in the vid) by the Hondas. I figured that next year we are both going to run HO Quad 4s. We want to stay with an American car for racing... that way parts are easier to find.
Overall... you can see my car is almost a top 5 car, and he gets about low teens.

Why racing? Because football, basketball, and soccer require only ONE ball!
Very cool. I totally dig it!

A lot easier to find than Honda parts... we are both sponsored by a auto salvage place (read: junkyard) so parts is just a phone call away.

Last Saturday got rained out thanks to a poop load of storms that dumped the northeast...
Last night it was on. I started outside pole, and my dad outside second. About 10 laps in he caught up and we were battling for about 5 laps until I missed a shift in the frontstretch and he got me. We finished right behind each other in 8th and 9th.
