well i drive an almost stock 02 GTI 1.8T 5 speed auto (just have the boost turned up 2 psi)
went to the local track yesterday to pull some runs i was quite happy
rt .418
60' 2.262
330 6.481
1/8 9.998
1000 12.980
1/4 15.245
mph 92.54
that was my best run
what do you think
something seems f'ed up on your time slip
PPPSSSS!!!! MMMMMmmmMMM boost=yummy
60 foot time of 2.2
and 15.2 @ 92 mph??? something dont seem right
i can get that time and get a speed of 89. or get that speed and have a time of 14.6
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
i think its bs
PPPSSSS!!!! MMMMMmmmMMM boost=yummy
Should this sort of thing be allowed here or should I move it to the Other Cars forum?
that time is FINE guys
i run 15.3@89 with a 2.0 60 and a 9.78 1/8 mile so his car has slow bottom end and lots of Top end.......my car is all bottom end NO TOP END...........not BS
Good Times BTW
That a 10 sec 1/8 time thougg. I would like to see an 1/8 mile trap speed.

Heres a slip from one of my 15.2 runs...
R/T ... .889
60' ... 2.269
330 ... 6.451
1/8 ... 9.863
MPH ... 72.31
1000 ... .000
1/4 ... 15.273
MPH ... 91.20
Not saying it's B.S......but thats making up alot of time in the end 1/8 of the track.
A 9.998 1/8th 'should' be around a 15.5-15.6. So hes picking up .3-.4 just in the top end.
I'd really like to see an 1/8 trap speed though.

but thats the thing about the turbo
they don't really come to life till they are in the upper range..........by buddys turbo sunfire ran 14.2@104 lol my old race car used to run 14.0@92
gearing, motors, forced induction all make differences i am gonna guess his 1/8th mile time was around 68 mph and it just started truckin in the top end when the turbo was wailing
well...then I'd say it has more to do with crappy gearing than anything.
