Well im thinking about starting up autox on this thing and was wondering what class I would be in as I have never raced this car on autox before.
04, 4 door ecotec
Tein SS
=These are going to be installed by the time I autox=
Eibach front and rear sways
Front and rear strut mounts
Poly brushins
tiebar
=Engine=
Stock until supercharger (6months mb)
=Interior=
Every piece will be back in, just either glassed or painted, floor is currently ripped out as im installing fatmat. Black carpet to go in after.
=Tires=
Probablh some kuhmo tires if someone can recommend something good
HOpefulyl will be of my stock 15 alloys and onto some 17
thanks a ton!
for tires i would say r-compounds of some sort, i havent used em so youd have to ask someone else for specifics
if i'm not mistaken you will be in STS, or you could always run DSP
should be in dsp, tiebar may not be legal though. I can't remember off hand
As soon as he bolts up that supercharger though it'll be SM (Street Mod) all the way.

Sleeper style, they don't see it coming that way.
You better check where your gonna race at cause at summit if you slap a SC on it your not going out. Do a little checking at whatever track your planning on running at and see what they allow and let them class your car and get a list of dos and dont's.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
lol street mod for sure!!! youll be going againts all the turbo evos sti's, the corvettes, lotuses. your in the big boy league now. dont plan on finishing top 5!!! top ten for that matter depending on the showing.
DSP, supercharger will put you in SM.
STS on street tires (higher than 140 treadwear 235's or thinner)
DSP on r-compounds (must be dot legal)
SM with the supercharger. Skip the supercharger and get a turbo, you'll be much happier.

I ran STS all day long. If you want to be able to acutually compete, stick to STS. It is a very competative class and you should be able to hang with most of the cars, depending on driver skill...
Definately check into the league you want to race in. Most have web pages that have all the class restrictions on them somewhere. Good luck and have fun...
