Well I went to the track to claim my #2 and possibly #1.
I know I can take the #1 on a slick but unfortunatelly this guy I was getting it from, his brother had a surgery so I couldn't get ahold of him in time and stuff so it never came through.
I did get a BFGoodrich G Force.
I traded my 22 inch slick for a 23 inch BF.
So of to the track I go, last time I pulled a 13.47 @107.50 with a 2.26 60 foot and that was with a open diff, stock clutch and flywheel.
So far I put in Fidanza, Spec Stage III and Quaife.

So there you all go the last pass the weather dropped so cool man the car loved it. it was about 80 with a little wind factor.
I didn't wanna run anymore, because I don't wanna JUST bearly beat the 12.97 I wanna beat it by at least .1-.2 sec.
So tomorrow I am getting a 24.5 slick and might take it to the track to claim MY #1 POSITION.

ill even do the second on stock internals. if my math is right then i should be right about 304WHP on 12PSI....now i just gotta document it. maybe monday or tuesday ill jog over and get a number
good times though man....they wont stand long. got a trick up my sleeve and a new track to run on this weekend.

BTW, the BF's are good and all but the problem I am having is the passanger strut being broken.
So I get in the water box and spin for a few revs.
Pull out of it and go to smoke them on the dry track and they wheelhop something fierce. That was the problem last night.
I couldn't heat them up last night enough.
If I could, you can pull a 1.90 on them or so, my boy in the SRT said he cut a 1.85 on them on time.
They were at 17 psi.

I wanna get the traction resolved as much as I can cause it will not get better, and also run as good as I can on a set up that I am running right now, I am done raising up the boost anymore.
I know the car has a 12.70 in it as is now.
I just have to cut a 1.80 60 foot, and with the slick that I am getting that should not be a problem.

Lenko ecotecs dont break you can do like 20 psi daily and nothing will give (joke).. ive spikked and held 32 psi for two races. I wouldnt recommend that though. I actually may be the first to blow the motor cause the time is coming for new motor to go in, so i will be sure to test the limits of the wonderful ecotec once and for all ON VIDEO, so stay tuned for that.

I will tell you that 8.93 in the 1/8 with 308 hp at the wheel is pretty sucky.
I will go out of my way to hook up my scaner tomorrow to my computer and post the dyno sheets for you.
and the 13.1 was not done on a SLICK, it was ran on a BFGoodrich G-Force.
SLICK is yet to come so have fun catching to my 8.61 when I give you another task to do and catch to my 8.25. lol
You better believe that MY forged motor WILL SEE 18 psi and a 70 shot or 25 psi maybe more it is not MY fault that you have no balls to push your motor, drive train and your foot.

Apparently you cant put 2 and 2 together. My track run was at around 13 psi and my dyno run was on about 17psi. so 308whp on a 8.9 isnt what i said. now you also have a Quaife which helps. and comparing to your time verses mine, you hooked up ALOT better. and the Gforce tires are much better than the kumho 711 18's. and yes the stock clutch is maxed out at 18 psi (slipping). i have the balls to push it. i just cant find a pair of balls on my clutch anywhere. lol. i had a vacation, my clutch wasn't here and my motor was built so i dropped it in.
So looking at the traction advantage you have, your car can have 50 less hp and be faster than mine on the track. hell, i couldn't get less than a 10.3 stock in the 1/8 and people at some track were running 9.7's. like i said the track i ran at isnt the best. i wasn't trying to piss you off when you said your goal was to be 1st have 300 hp on the ecotec and i told you i already did that. i was just stating a fact. if you ran 17 psi on your setup now, you would probably pass 308whp. by the way, props to your 13.100.

Don't take this the wrong way, but how can you claim or call bs on horsepower looking at 1/8 mile et's? MPH is the only ballpark way to determine horsepower, ET's require traction and horsepower. For example, 2 years ago on nitrous (I'm boosting now and yes it works the same for boost) I ran a pass on my G-Forces (the street tire, not the drag radial) and ran a 2.4 60' (bad track) 9.4 1/8, and 14.3 1/4. By your math that's what 200 horse??? not sure how your figuring hp. The next pass (30 minutes later, only change was tires) I ran my BFG drag radials and ran a 2.0 60', 8.8 1/8, and 13.7 1/4. On both runs, 1/8 mile mph was around 80 and 1/4 mph was around 100. My horsepower didn't change, just my traction. Like I said, don't take offense, I'm just pointing out facts.

where is the proof. Reading your set-up yes you could get that power. Actually seems a little weak compared to what some are putting down with stock motors.
I do understand what you are saying about your times on lower psi, and that is fine. until you run a faster tiem you are not faster. Saying all of this until you so proof you put that power, down, or you have run faster, then you have not and are not.

Now about this comment about me not understanding the way ET's and MPH works, you really think guys?? I mean come on.
I know that ET's vary big based on the hook up but the MPH don't lie, you should have ran a 8.93 at like 94mph with 300+, but you only trapped 88mph.
I did that with 11.5-12 psi.
Now I am not overlooking the fact that you said you ran 13psi on that pass, but run a 17 and tell us what happens, and don't be mad that someone asks you for a proof it comes with the territory.
If you wanna claim that you are the fastest or that you put down the most you know the drill, a lot of people are after the same quest and they are going to ask for a proof, so since I AM (not the HP just the speed), please post the sheets, and some track slips.
