Inform the JBO troops what happened this weekend at the GLD Import Wars #3....

It was truly fun to watch....

ahhh to be young and win a race ...lol

never mind who he beat in the final....suffice to say he was excited...

I suspect my buddy KQ4 Jake will shoot me for posting this....

But it was an all GM final in the class............

Damnit! Finally something good at GLD and I miss it!!!


Don't tell me Jake is racing the killer again....and he got beat by Hypsy!!!

If thats the case...I suspect the car to be for sale on e-bay again soon

well i wasnt going to post anything...but yes i got to race jake in the finals of the Class C (14.00-14.99sec bracket) heads up race. he messed up on his launch or something and spun the tires badly. about the 660 mark i hit the boost switch to make sure he stayed back there. he played fair and didnt kick in the juice to catch up (fair because he hadnt used it in the class all day) and i won the race 14.1 to 14.6 or something like that. i had to hit the brakes to stay in the class that run. i always thought that was cheating....until i had to do it to win


but he was also pulling double duty that day. he was also running the quick 16 class (13.00 and faster) and lost in the semis....oh well. he still made some bank.

No worries, you did great.

Get a fan toggle & relay in the car for days like Sunday. It will help a bunch when they start hot lapping cars in the late rounds to speed the race along.

Jake was on his game and had stellar lights except for one round....lol

what kind of money do you guys make doing that?

this event (Import Wars) has a few different payouts depending on class. i know the class i was in it was $250 for first, $100 for second, and $50 for making the semis. I forget the exact amounts for the quick 16 but its a decent amount if you do good.

i need to find some more events to go to so i can keep making money and keep eating and clothing myself...only wish that was a joke
