heres the deal. the couple times i raced with the juice. i armed the system befoe i went up to stage at the lights. then when the light turned green i floored it and the nitrous kicked in due to the WOT switch. which resulted in wheel spin costing me big in the times.
but hear is what im thinking doing. ill launch and around the 1/8 mile mark ill flip the system on. would this be ok to do or not?

I would much rather get a push buttom switch. So you have a switch for the system on, which you would turn on before the staging. Then you would have the WOT and then have the pushbutton. So only when the push button and the WOT are both pressed with the nitrous flow. But your way might work too.
since ill already be at WOT aroudn the 1/8 mile mark. flipping on the armming switch would be be like a push bottun type of thing

Don't wait that long, flip it as soon as you are past the 60' mark.

or just when you launch dont open it up all the way until you are solid traction wise, possibly adding an rpm window switch could delay it enough that you dont spin the tires when the nitrous kicks in, how big of a shot u running?
Could even look into a timed switch once you figure your 60' times or how long it takes you to get up to where you will have traction and run it off that, then its 1 less thing to have to worry about hitting while racing.

thats what i did when i got the 14.7
i did not mash the gas at the start. i just went to about the 60 foot mark then floored it.
but im just looking for some new ideas

No something better . . . go with slicks . . . . wont have many traction issues . . .
I would recomend launching with no jiuce and when the tires stop spinning hit the switch
NOS make a Programmable Nitrous Controler. You can progam the nitrous to come on at any given time point and come in progressivly, staring at whatever percentage and build up to 100% over a given time. You can also activate a retard box (MSD DISII).
Problem is it costs as much as a Nitrous system!
NX makes one as well. Got a BRAND NEW one for sale.. cheap.. e mail if your interested.
when you going to start racing again Tim?

I had a T-handle with a button. That way, if you break the tires loose you can let go of the button and keep on the gas, then get back on the button. Beats lettin off the gas to stop the nitrous.
