It was High Performance Pontiac Mag day at Englistown NJ. Nothing but Pontiacs!! Heaven!!
Anyway, We got there about 11 a.m. I made my first of 2 time trial runs. The car felt good, launched good and I knew it would be a good run. I had my RFS radio in the car and Susan told me I ran a 15.2!!! Damn! I figured I'd get a low 15.4 but geez a 15.2!!! I didn't think I could do any better than my previous best of 15.363!
So the MTA, with 86k miles on her, original clutch, ran a 15.276 @ 88.16 MPH.
Car was set up as follows:
27.5 PSI front and 40 PSI rear tire pressures
No spare tire, jack or back seat "top" (that was already out from a trip 2 weekends ago)
I honestly have no idea what I launced at. I reved the engine till it sounded good, and shifted when it sounded right. That's always how i've gotten my best times. Don't think, just do.
I redlighted first round by -.009 Would have been a damn good run and a win if I didn't screw that up. Check my reg for my other 2 times slips. I bogged on the launch those other two. Here's pics of the timeslip and my tech card to prove my car number. No BS flags here people!!!

nice time. Hopefully I run low 15s this year, but man would it be nice to run a high 14 (once the exhaust---i.e. header and high flow cat---are installed)

I'll see if I can have susan do a crop of the mpg version I have. Won't have to worry about stupid codecs that way.
