whats a good tire size for 14" rims for racing, mostly drag but have to be good for street as well??
i know they come with 195/70 would this be a good size or should i go with something else
btw im thinking about getting some BFGoodrich's Traction T/A H as i hear there one of the best
let me know what you think i should do in regaurds to tire size
thanks
I think you can find some tires in a 225/50 for 14 inch rims. The 195/70s are much more common but the wider tread is better for racing.

i dont wanna go 225/50 as thats low pro and will make my speedo go off not to mention increase the wheel gap and look funny
anyone else know?
I haven't tried them yet, but Yokohoma Avid T4 only weigh 18 lbs. I don't know what the BF Goodrich weigh.
get some 225+ 65-70's, will be taller, but with lowered pressures will hook muchos better

I have the older ones on my 16's and are very very happy with them.
They are definitely lighter than the Bf's.
