Hi my name is thorn chabot. I own two j bodies. Both are buick skyhawks one is a 1984 custom and the other is a 1989. I drive the 84 and i use the 89 for parts. The 84 is automatic with the 2.0l ohv 4 cyl and the 89 has 5 spd manual and a 2.0l ohc 4 cyl. Im sawpping the 5 spd into the 84 and im stripping the 89 for spare parts. Currently i have the intierior stripped out of the 84 so i can redo the entire intierior in black and wood with chrome trim. I want to switch to a carb insted of the tbi plus rip out all emissions. I have switched to full snythetic motor and tranny fluids. Also i disconnected the ac and will remove it soon. I want to get a trubo for it plus a cold air intake. I want to make the car either a t top or into a convertible. Would like to know what you guys think of it. In ct i do not have to comply with emissions since the vehicle is over 25 years of age and the 89 cannot be registered since it came from the junkyard.
