I was looking on craigslist the other day here in Houston and saw a 03 Cavalier 2dr 5 speed for $1100. It says it runs good with cold A/C . it just has some dents above the drivers door on the roof. It looks to be a base model with no power windows, power door locks, and just a am/fm radio
It had 130,000 miles

Asuming that it was in good mechanical shape, what would it run in the 1/4 mile? I here eco techs are decent in that area.

I was thinking about getting this a beater/ project car

With nothing done to it at all...high 15s. Depends on how good a driver you are, too.

mid to low 15s if you can drive it... and assuming its in good mechanical working order.

some can dip down into high 14s, but usually you have to mod them a little bit.

You would have low elevation on your side too since your in the Houston area.
