I just got a no-name cat back exhaust with a n1 style muffler and 2.25" pipe put on mycar yesterday. I think it sounds pretty good as far as tone goes. But its really loud with out the silencer. Right now im using the silencer it came with and its just a little louder (with the silencer) than what I would like it to be. It looks dumb with the silencer in it and thats why I would like to quiet it down so I dont have to use the silencer. Any ideas? thanks for your Responses.

I was told by someone that I could use a thrush glasspack or cherrybomb in place of a resonator. Is this true? If so, what size have guys on here used? Will it make my exhaust sound even deeper?

I had a cherrybomb glasspack on my cavalier, and it sure as hell didn't make it quieter lol.
^-- WTF!?! That's not a J!

To replace the muffler or to replace the tiny resonator?
I am also thinking or replacing the res with a long cherry bomb or something to quiet down my Dynomax a little, its not really loud but I want it a little closer to stock to avoid unwanted attention.
