2000 sunfire some dummy tried to steal it alot of damage

they broke the steering column cover and use something to break the key lock. I tried to start it and it turned over four time but now it is not doing anything. the anti-theft light is on and the radio is not working. There is a wire that comes out of the ignition it a little beat up but not cut any ideas

What year vehicle?
Never saw security keep it from rolling over, just from starting. Maybe try a vats relearn procedure. Or they could have messed something up in the ignition switch.

Do you mean the three small wires under the ignition? With a small connector? Those are for your anti-theft system, so if they were fairly damaged on the inside or loose, your car wouldn't start. I've been having the same problem in mine, although without the break in. Sorry to hear about that

Also, if it's not even turning over now, maybe you killed the battery?
