Hey all. I'm new to the site and just wanted to drop a line saying hello before I hit the technical section and ask questions that have probably been asked 1,000 times before. I've actually been searching for those questions as to not bore you with repeating yourselves, but uhh...so far no luck.
As for my ride, it's a 2001 Z24 with 140k miles and yes, I am still rolling with the original clutch! The car has treated me well, though it's finally starting to act up after 7 years of ownership (bought it used in 2003 with 20k miles). I think it's held up pretty well for my "work ride," as I also have a 1998 Z28 Convertible. I'll post pix when I get the first opportunity.
If anyone lives here in the SoCal area, most notably the SFV, feel free to hit me up. I also ride a sportbike and have a 2008 Buell 1125R that I ride whenever I get the chance.
Late!
Search function is your best friend!
People get really annoyed when you ask a question that was asked 1000 times before

Yeah and they usually give you crap about it too lol
Seems like the tech question I asked has been asked before and everyone's been cool about it. Funny thing. I also have a Z28 Convertible, a Buell 1125R, and formerly owned a Ducati 996. All related forums haven't given anyone @!#$ about reposts of the same topic. One has to figure that while a search function is great, it doesn't always work. Hence, it's cool to just say, "OK, we've covered this but here's a link for the newb." No big deal.

You must be lucky, because I learned this the hard way. Most people are cool and will work with you if you aren't being a blatant pain in the ass, but there will always be some sandy vaginas
