I have a 2001 4 door sunfire. 2.2 with 4 speed auto. I am going to be putting in a full alpine system in it. Would like to do some mods to it but , so many people say it's a bad motor. I was thinking maybe turbo or nitrous.
Or a 2.4 motor swap. Depending how hard it would be to do.
The 2.2L isn't really a BAD engine, it's just not exactly fast. It's good at what it's for, that is a reliable daily driver motor.
