Just signed up, wanted to say hi. I kind of stumbled across this site, seems like people here know their stuff on the J-bodies, Im learning as I go. .LOL. I've got a 2000 Cavi 2.2 OHV 5-speed with 150,000 miles, and so far has been flawless. The only major thing if you want to call it that was replacing the coil packs, plugs, wires. Sooo, will see you in the forums!

Welcome to jbody.org! Your car is clean and it has so much more potential. Beware of posting if you cant take crtiticism nicely for there are very rude discouraging members on this site. Some members like myself will give you useful information while others will just hate. Now that you have a quick rundown of this site feel free to browse it and post anything you'll need help with!
welcome and looks like a great start. My only observation so far is the small red bowties on the fender lol id get rid of them for a much cleaner look. Goodluck and let us know your plans..

Far from a quick rundown. You posted pics, Got offended by the comments, and here we are.
Anyway, Welcome! As long as you understand that people will comment on stuff you post on the internet, your feelings won't get hurt like this guy's did.

Notice how mike is the volunteer for the comment I left. Dont bother with ignorant people like him, it gives them something to do which is run their mouths over the net which is pointless. Arrival04eco is the good example of helpful people on the org that offer good advice. Thats a quick lesson!
looks in good shape for that kinda of mileage and it sounds like you got your head on straight, no reason to waste a bunch a cash on a high milage econo-box ( like most of us tards on here)
Welcome to the JBO
Someone didn't like my bowtie emblems..hehe. I don't think it looks ' unclean ' . I guess I'm a die hard Chevy guy.

Welcome to the forum, Jeff and Brenda! Even though it is true that there are people on here who just live to criticize, as long as you arent a big baby about it, its mostly constructive. JBO forums have helped me immensely in diagnosing common problems and ideas as far as appearance is concerned. You'll know whos trying to help you and whos just being a giant douche.
I do agree with arrival_04_eco (green98cav) about the badges. I debadged my '04 (the ugly gold bowtie on the back went, along with "Cavalier LS" and the side mouldings) and I love how it turned out. Not that hard to do, just takes a putty knife, fishing line and a @!#$ load of goo gone ($6-$7 at autozone, great for removing adhesive without damaging clear coats). My '01 cav had all the original moulding and badges, and they will eventually start to fade and chip and generally look like ass.
The choice is yours, but all in all, thats a sweet looking cav you got, Jeff. If you decide to debadge, you could do what a buddy of mine did and convert the badge itself into a keychain and/or something to hang from your rearview.
Brenda, any car pics?
P.S. think about rims... a good set of 17''s would really set your car off... Even the 16'' chrome chevy OEMs look really nice on the coupes, junkyards are the best place to look, way too expensive otherwise.
