Do i have to loosen the engine mount bolts somehow before i raise the oil pan with the jack?

NEVER jack on the oil pan.

you shouldn't need to move the engine at all to get to the tensioner.

I jacked up the old pan about 2 inches then let it down. Someone in auto at canadian tire said I could do this to get access to this bolt.

Please help, i have to get this done before school Monday. I need to know how to loosen the belt tensioner, I seem to can't get at it with anything, even bought the correct belt removal tool with the shallow sockets, still couldn't get it in there.So returned it.

This bolt is 15 mm right?
