well it's in the front bumper ...you know the vinyl looking grill in the middle of the bumper...does just that piece pop out?
no. its part of the bumper! gotta cut it out if u want it gone!

At least, my 05 is. Why don't you Jack up the car and stick your head under to look at it? Or just pull on it a little and see if it budges? Doesn't seem particularly difficult to figure out.

what model cav do you have and what year?
if you talking about the base bumpers from 95-99... i wouldnt cut that out. it just looks bad..

its the base model bumper I wanted to paint the grill thing black. What would you suggest and how?
just take the bumper off.. paint it that way, its a one piece bumper
