This is my 2nd cavy but I had a couple questions, plus I am addicted to the forum thang due to my jeep so here i am! I have a 93 Bird (I still consider it a cavy) its a 3.1 motor with a 5 speed,
My first one was a 96 cavy 2.2 I did nothing but maintenance with it, head gasket, full top end rebuild/clean, slave cylinder, clutch, thats just the major stuff, my 96 was constantly breaking down, no money to do anything, but this 93 bird has renewed my faith in the little boogers, its strong and reliable, and so I will be able to do the stuff I wanna with it. I do however favor my jeep, that is my weekend warrior, I love going off roading in it, and my bird is my DD.
By the way, my quirk that i must change with every vehicle, is handling, shocks, struts, springs, tires, rims, sway bars, stabilizer bars, ball joints etc. when I had my civic the local scene did not understand me, I am not a straight away kinda person. They put all their money in the performance, I put mine in handling, its just a preference, I love taking back roads and having fun. but anyways, Hi guys! Meet your new opinionated female mechanic!
Welcome to the org.
P.S. I think its pretty cool when girls can not only do their own car repairs but drive a 5 speed car as well so
welcome to the org
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
