I cannot find anything to customize or upgrade my cavalier its a 1992 2 door with a 2.2 and an automatic tranny, and i also had questions about doing a 3800 series 2 supercharged swap what all would be needed. thanks
you did not search, there is tons of info on both subjects here. And tons of stuff you could do as far as swaps go. I say do the first 2nd gen eco swap if possible (if it has not already been done).
just stay away from rattle can, fart cans and multi-colored wire loom imo..
I really like the idea of the 3800 supercharged series 2 in a 2nd gen but i cant find any pics or how to's on how to do it. and also would a getreg 5 speed tranny be a good option for the motor.
Click on the Search button. Type in 3800. Read, research, and read some more. Plenty of people on here have done the swap successfully. However, it is not a swap for the average tinkerer or light of wallet.
Ive decided to go with the 3400 instead much easier and less weight but yet still a great platform to build off of. And i planned on matching the motor up to a 5 speed getrag.
