I had this idea on covering up the floor molding with some foam and other objects (covered by carpet or rubber) to level out the floor of my 95 cavalier. i was wondering if others have tried to do this or would it be too much of a pain in the ass. if its been tried before pictures would be great
why would anyone want to?
wouldn't that cause issues clearing the pedals......?
i want to cover up the structure, which is only about two to three inches above bare sheet metal... there is still some clearance between the pedals and where the floor would be
The seats sit inside the structure and it would screw up the floor for the rear passengers it seems, making the car look like a midget car....?
Never heard of it being done. What would be your reasoning behind this?
