im lookin to drop a new engine and tranny into my sunfire after i finish payin my step dad. i dont really know whats good but im thinkin a H.O. Quad 4 and a 5 speed(if possible). i mentioned this to my step dad and he says id be better off getting a different car. right now it has a 2200 and a 3 speed automatic

Gotta go with your stepdad. Finding a good HO Quad4/5 speed donor car won't be easy and if you did, you'd be better off repairing it. Check the Performance forum for countless threads on engine swaps.
