if i want to make my 00 z24 to sound deep and loud what will I all need?.. i kind of have an Idea like getting catback exhaust with 2.4 racing headers and magnaflow exhaust.. how does that sound? is it expensive to get it installed? would i be safe going the ebay route?

Well a few things..it's hard to get deep and loud..headers and magnaflow will be really raspy without a big resonator and even then prolly will still be pretty raspy. The best thing to do would go to an exhaust shop and have them custom bend one up for ya. If you're not planning on boost..go like 2.25" and if you are go like 2.5-2.75". If I remember right..which every shop will be different it was around 200 and I had my own muffler, tip and resonator..so around $300 total..and you can make it kinda sound how you want..

I actually got one of those "fart can" exhausts but it ended up bein' really deep, not that loud weed eater sound. I bought it for like $30 and I've had it for over 4 years. I had to have it welded last year where it had crappy welds on the edge, but its fine now. Also, I live in NC so I have inspections, and I actually get it inspected (as apposed to some one I know just puttin a sticker on) and it passed every time.

yes i would much rather have it deep than loud.. i just want something other than stock so i guess a 30 dollar fart can off ebay will work just as long as i keep the silencer on it!
