i wonder if the insurance is higher on this model?

what about the ls sports?
02 Cavalier sedan ECOTEC
screw the engine build, show cars are cheaper and dont break as often
^^^^ I think he meant all the pre Ecotec cars that whern't z24's...
btw... I love the way sunfires look when lowered with a full streetfire kit and evil eyes.... I kinda wan't to do that to mine but can't justify the money for something that doesn't make the car faster. That will be kick ass once it's painted though....
I would like to point out that the Sunfire had its own version - the GTX. I've also seen a few Sunfires with SS stickers on the sides. Those ones make me laugh whenever I see them
There are TONS of variations, the only differences are visual. There was actually a thread over this a while back...the only ones that have any major difference are the Z24s (that is Js with stickers/emblems). I've been kinda curious about the evil headlights myself, is it just a new hood?

yes the evil eyes is done by welding a piece of metal onto the fire hoods
Up here in northeast ohio. Z22 had razzi body kits and a spoiler. Everything else was a base cav.
But yes dealer created.

I'm sorry, but I just can't help loving the fact that some idiot will pay like $1000.00 more for a set of stickers on a base car.
I guess the honda guys have it right about 5+ hp gains per sticker. (note the sarcasm)
Yes, I originally posted about this not 6 months ago.
I think I was one of those suckers who pays more for a base cavy b/c of Z22 decals... which btw are long gone...
53Km in 2006 for a 2003 Z22 with a moonroof... or sunroof... idk what the diff is...
Anyway, I see MUCH lower priced Z24's around here, which makes me sad, but oh well... my first new-ish car...
Buddy Club Ecotec Cavalier
* More to come *
Sunroof = metal (can't see through it when it's closed)
Moonroof = glass
Speaking of dealer rice... when I was stationed in anchorage... the local GM dealership was selling LN2 powered Sunfires with full RKsport Streetfire kits, chrome 18" rims, and cat-back exausts... and calling them Streetfires.... they even had cutom paint and said "streetfire" on them.... I think they wanted like 4 grand more for them.... I actually made fun of them for doing it right in front of the owner and pissed him off so bad that he asked us too leave if we whern't there to buy anything....
this was about a week after 2 fast 2 furiouse came out in theaters btw.....
ya Z22 are a dime a dozen lol, I see alot of them here in Alberta, I got curious one day and went to go see a friends new car after they bought the badass Z22 Cavalier, I looked under the hood and broke out laughing, I was expecting to see at least a 2.4 motor or something but no just a Cavalier RS with Z22 written on the said the poor guy asked what I was laughing at and said he could beat me in a race but I showed(at the time Z24(1992)), that a Z22 is nothing proud
"As I lay rubber down the street, I pray for traction I can keep, but if I spin and begin to slide, please dear God protect my ride." -Amen
It's funny how people think any new car they buy is fast... I knew a guy that sold his ZR1 (god knows why) and baught an Eco powered Cavy as a daily driver.... he kept going on about how fast his car was and was talking smack saying he could outrun my car....
First of all... anyone that has ever owned a ZR1 shouldn't think a Cavelier is fast... and secondly... I regret not racing him and ruining his day.
Is that really the difference between a moonroof and a sunroof... i thought it was one slides out of the car (J-Bodies) and the other slides in the car (acura tsx for example) not sure what ones which.lol
If im wrong then what car uses a sunroof (i.e cant see through it when its closed/metal)
I have one true love in my life...And my girlfriend sits next to me in it
My Tuburon had a sunroof like that... it was just a piece of metel painted the same color as the car (not glass)..
I might be wrong in the differences... but thats my understanding of it.
There's a really good chance that they are just 2 names for the same thing also.
my brothers 1998 BMW 328i has one of those metal ones also.
same with my other brothers 2001 Audi A4,
And my other brother's Peugeot 206HDi has one also...
btw, this is off topic...
