i was on ebay looking at superchargers just for the hell of it and saw an electric supercharger, first time i've heard of them and it caught my eye...i did some research, read up on them and it kinda seems bogus to me, but leaves me wondering
listed price on ebay is $67 which isnt a whole lot
i really am considering buying one just to test it out, i know it will disapoint me in everyway possible, but i kind of want to guinea pig this piece
so has anybody else tried it or am i going to be the first one???
also i just ordered my intake so this wont happen for another 2-3 weeks
Dude theres a reason everyone else said dont buy it. Its not the key to amazing amounts of power, which it sounds like you already know. Regardless, its not going to magically give your car a higher torque number or more horsepower when it actually screws with everyone elses. Other people see it as a waste of money for a reason. I would start putting the money toward an exhuast or a set of pulleys, just my two cents though.
How about a blower motor from one of these
where i use to work had those and those things are damn powerful
but they also need allot of current. I just dont know how you would hook it to the intake since its huge
^^ remove the hood
Honestly though... it's been PROVEN that these so called electric superchargers actually hinder power and gas milage, it sounds like you already know that. What you probably didn't know is that starting a thread like this is going to form a line of BS a mile long. That is unless everyone is tired of responding to these like I am.
Once you've been around for awhile, you'll understand what I mean, no hard feelings or anything.
oh i completely understand, i've been on other forums where the same topic comes up a million times, but now i know how it feels to be on the other end
someone delete this
