Ive been pretty bored with my car lately, and Ive been thinking about ditching the top... is there many on here that have done it? what is involved? how much bracing?
Thanks,
why not just sell it and buy a vert?
only thing close to this that i see worth doing is if you wanted t-tops or a targa tops (since no j ever came that way).

Why is this in the Photos/Media forum?

cause he wants to see pictures... but didn't read the sticky at the top of the forum just like everyone else who makes a picture request.
don't worry... this will go nicely in the newbies forum.
the amount of time and money spent on making a coupe into a vert is not worth it. the verts were designed different structurally
I am so sorry that I posted this in the wrong forum. Is their any thing else you guys want to cry about.
You'd have to buy a dead convertible to pull the 250-odd lbs of bracing, and be intimately familiar with a welder. Not worth it.

Dude, chill, they're not trying to give you a hard time. It's an honest mistake. Like it's been said before, you're better off to just buy a vert. To turn yours in to a vert would require more time, work and money than it would be worth unless you've got a daily driver and want to make it a straight up show car.
I had something really funny to put here but it was too long.

no one is crying dude. this website like many others have forums dedicated to certain things. it wouldnt make much sense for someone with a nitrous question to post it in the suspension forum or someone with a racing question to post it in the group purchase forum now would it?
