Hi there,
I'm new to this forum, but plan to be a regular member, I just purchased a 2003 yellow Cavalier with 65,000 miles on it. Its an automatic, 2-door. At first I wanted the 5-speed, but I couldn't find a 5-speed yellow cavalier anywhere in my are that had the ecotec engine.
I have a couple of questions for you Cavalier car nuts out there.
1. Are these cars pretty reliable? With regular maintenance can I expect to go well beyond 100k miles?
2. What are some good mods to do to the car? Air intake (Any links or brand suggestions?) Exhaust, etc,,,
3.Anything else that is a good thing to know of do to these cars?
I appreciate any advice, yellowcavalier@gmail.com
Thanks,
Justin

3. Gm supercharger is your friend when running an auto eco.
4. Honda's hate to lose to cavaliers especially 4door ones.

aem makes nice cold air intakes
short shifters auto or man by b&m
headers cat back ... body kit
depending on how much money u wanna put into it .... port n polish ...
turbo/intercooled ??? or supercharged as was already said ....
throttle body spacer .... aem fuel rail
lol the list can go on and on .... gravanatuninig.com is a good site or jdm
throttle body spacer and aem fuel rail are the two biggest wastes of money i could think of, and there is no such thing as an auto short shifter, they're only made for the 5 speed.
