I saw another post concerning a member that wasn't positive if they had key less entry but my issue is just a little bit different. I know for sure I have key less entry(I found the box under the carpet in the trunk and my car came with fabs) But it doesn't work, I replaced the batteries in the fabs and tried the little programing thing from the manual. I have a 97 cav 2.2 any idea on how to make it work?

you replaced the batterys where?

check the remotes for a new battery and the simple programming is to hold down the lock and unlock buttons at the same time for a while til you hear the doors lock and unlock.

batteries?? My had only one for my 97 Sunfire. Assuming it is the correct and the one that came with the car, ensure the battery was put in correctly. My 97 sunfire has markings for which way the battery goes in.

I had to take my apart and clean the contacts for the buttons before it would work .

I replaced the battery in both of the remotes, I tried the simple programming from the manual and it still doesn't work if there no solution its not the end of the world I was just wondering.
