Sorry to ask a stupid question like this guys, but I just can't figure it out just by reading the threads. I know what a LD9 is because I have one, but I've also seen LN2 (i think that right), and a few other codes I don't know posted a lot, can someone do me the favor of listing the engine codes, and wich engine they refer to for me, so I can just get it over with and know what I'm reading for now on? Or if it's posted somewhere already that I havn't found, that will work too. Thanx and sorry for sounding like a newbie.
BTW... It's called an RPO code. Same type of code as Z24, Z28, ect ect.

L40 - SOHC 2.3 a.k.a. "Quad OHC" (a.k.a. "Garbage", "Internal Combustion AIDS", "Mistake #1", etc)
And before someone brings it up, W41 is a vehicle option code, not the code of the engine itself. The W41 option package added different cams to an LG0, among other things.
