Suspension issues.
Tuesday, June 19, 2007 9:03 PM
Hello I am Andrew.

I just joined, I already tried the search engine to find the information I was looking for. I just wanted to make sure I read it right.
The problem is the passenger rear wheel well of the car sits at 10 1/4 inches, and the driver side rear wheel well sits at 11 1/4 inches. The information I read so far indicates that I may have to replace the strut mounts. I got the information out of the squeaky suspension thread. OR am I just going about this the wrong way. NOTE: I am not interested in lowering my car.

Any help would be appreciated.

did you measure your car on level ground? strut mounts wont have anything to do w/ the height of the car. it could be possible that one of your struts is blown.

Yes the car was parked on near flat pavement. The driveway only has a 1in drop away from the house at 12ft. Other wise it is level width wise. And yes I used a string level to measure the driveway. As far as I can tell the strut is not blown. I can find no damage to the strut or spring. other that the of kilter look of the rear end, it seems to work just fine. I am worried that long term effects might ruin the rear end. And some thing I left out at first, it has been like this for about week + or - a day.
