I Have a couple questions....
I Plan on redoing my whole exhaust, i have a Pacesetter Polished Armor Coat Header in the mail and about to purchase a magnaflow cat, resonator, and muffler.
I want to up my pipe diameter to 2.5" but im not sure if i should. I could just buy the magnaflow 2.25" cat-back exhaust and be done with it.
I live in south east Michigan so if anyone knows a good shop that could weld all this up.
also with the header, if i go to 2.5" the header adapter im guessing will have to be modified.
so basically What should it cost for me to go to 2.5" and were can i get this done in Michigan.
I do have a muffler shop in town but i have had problems with them before on my jeep. i might ask them how much they will charge but any info would be appreciated.
also if you know a good place to purchase the muffler and resonator that would be helpful, i have done some searching and found a few places but a company that is know to be good and reputable.
i plan on buying the cat from Aaron at turbo tech( hopefully before the 25th so i can get on the gp prices)
anything else that you might think is a good idea please let me know
p.s. yes i did use the search to but head is about to explode from overfill

Question. WHY!? your car is automatic and whatever u do, wont even matter. From my experience with modifying a sport compact with an automatic transmission its totally pointless.
theres really no need to run a 2.5" exhaust, stick w/ the 2.25"

yeaaaa...thats not entirely true.
Anyways, you really wont gain anything from running 2.5 unless your doing some serious overhaulin, definitely stick with 2-1/4".
yea i figured since im not planing on a s/c or a turbo
I'd go with a 4-2-1 instead of pacesetter and keep the exhaust diameter small. I have an auto also and when I got my exhaust done, the drop in low end was noticeable ... moreso in an auto because you never really see much of the high rpm's unless you manually shift. The sound is @!#$ great though. I went with pacesetter header, magnaflow cat, resonator, 2.25" piping, and borla muffler.
yea. I had the magnaflow muffler and the borla. The magnaflow was good, but the borla was better in my opinion.
