Ok, so I bought this Sunpro Tach and the adapter that was claimed to be needed, cool.

I ran all the wiring for the tach and then the wires from the adapter into the engine bay, check.

Now, which connectors to the coil pack contains the white and orange wires that I'm looking for? It's a bit hard to see the connectors and their wires at this time of day.

This is all on a 1996 Cavalier base model with a 2.2 OHV.

there should be 2 harnesses off the coil pack. a 6-pin and a 2-pin. you want to splice into the 2 pin harness. i believe its a pink wire, not positive. check my cardomain page though. i think its on page 3, it shows you have to install an adaptor.

No, this car has 2, 3 wire harnesses. One on top and one on bottom.
