Hello guys and girls, I am very new to this website. I just purchased a 1995 Pontiac Sunfire about 3 days ago. I am trying to replace the door speakers. I cannot get the door panels off. I know there is some sort of clip but is there a way to get that off and not buy one of the specialty tools to do it? Any comments you have are appreciated.

If it is a manual window crank there is a little clip behind the crank that needs to be popped out.

You can probably get it off with some needle nose pliers

Na, go get the 'help' tool at your local auto store. Damned hard to get that manual crank clip off without it. Screws got the armrest, and push clips all around. the window gasket top can be a bit stubborn. Take your time, work it gradually.

i pop all mine off w/ a butter knife. its pretty easy to do
