Ok simple quistion that i dont know.. what dose the iac control and where is it located? tps what is it and control and where is it located? i need to clean them.save the cavy.

iac: Idle Air Control valve. its a little pintle valve that should be in the same plane as your throttle butterfly. should be two screws holding it in, undo them, pull it out, clean it with some throttle body cleaner, clean the gasket surface, and you may as well want to clean the throttle plate while you're there. put on the new gasket and o-ring, and replace the valve. see picture below.



tps: Throttle Position Sensor. will be located on the opposite side of the throttle linkage. nothing to clean here. if its bad, it needs to be replaced.
