Hello everyone, new to the org here. Was a member a long time ago, had a kid and had to kick the car habit for a while. But I have returned. I own a 99 Cavalier with the 2.2 OHV. Done a lil work on my since I have been on here and the whole thing is pretty much apart. I finally decided which direction I'm gonna go with it. I'm more into the auto-cross theme so I'm just gonna slap a supercharger in it and go. But I was wondering if a 2.4 motor mounts are the exact same as a 2.2? I have actually checked out a car with a 2.4 and just from looking with the eye, they seem pretty close. I'm sure they aren't though. I'm also lookin to switch over to a 5-speed. That alone says alot of work. Can anyone help me with these first few questions. This will mainly decide on which direction I go from here.

i beleive the mounts for the 2.2 ohv and 2.4 are the same.
far as supercharger, i dont think anyone makes one, except RSM but they are out of bussiness.

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!

I know that with a turbo you can make more power, but there is turbo lag. With a supercharger there isn't as much power but there isn't any lag. I can't decide on which one to invest my money in. Guess it depends on what you plan on doing with the car?? What is everyone's personal preference and why?
